What is cloud computing

Here is a brief introduction to a Cloud Computing.

It is a technology and this name is given because of its qualities just like a cloud. A cloud is created molecules of water. It’s not a fixed structure and moves continuously. So this technology is named by cloud computing.

It provides services all over the world and the movement is not fixed at all. It is not enough about storage, but it has a vast term. It provides services and applications. Most companies are dependent upon cloud computing. You can do scale up and down in storage through cloud computing.

CLOUD is basically a network. Some servers behinds store data. So it refers to the server that is accessed over the internet and present at the remote location. Suppose you have stored your data on the cloud, it might not be necessary that it’s just limited to your country. Just because servers might be in other countries. So your data stores on several servers. If a server is not working, data will be secure and maintain in every situation.

For example;(1)

You have organized a company and hire ten workers for it. So you need to maintain the hardware. It provides you services. Service providers are Google Cloud, AWS (Amazon Web Service), Microsoft Azull, and so on. You can access your data anywhere, at any time because of this.

 (2)

A company of Amazon announced a discount on their official pages, then traffic will be increased. The majority of users logged in at that time. Business companies can scale up their modules according to their needs. Even 10 resources can be scaled up to 100 resources by service providers.

Definition of Cloud Computing;

“It means storing, managing, and accessing the data and programs on the remote servers hosted on the internet instead of a computer hard drive”.

So Cloud Computing is the on-demand availability. It is available for virtual computers as well. Virtual computers exist virtually but not physically. Cloud computing provides services to virtual computers without direct, active management by the users. You have to pay for what you use nothing extra.

(A).Types/Forms Of Cloud Computing;

There are basically four types of clouds. These are the following;

  1. Public;

It is accessible to all. For example Gmail, everyone can register it.

  1. Private;

It is accessible for only specific organizations. For example, a company has an app only for its own workers. So the company uses private modules so that nobody from the public could access them.

  1. Hybrid;

As the name suggests, it provides public features as well as private Cloud features.

  1. Community;

It relates to the group. Its services are accessible by a group of the organization. For example, two or more companies share data or apps as in a group.

(B).FEATURES OF CLOUD COMPUTING;

Here are some of the basic features of Cloud Computing.

1.On-demand self service;

It means that a consumer can request and receive access to a server offering, without an administrator and some sort of support staff having to fulfill the request manually.

  1. Broad network access;

The services can be accessed at any time and anywhere. It can be accessed by any type of device either mobile phone or laptop. There is no demand for location.

  1. Resources;

Recourse is whatever you needed like storage, memory, and virtual machines. So it can be any service that can be consumed by Cloud Consumers. Multiple consumers are served from the same physical resource.

For example, you buy a service from Cloud Computing only for ten-day or a month and so on. After you end of the resource, this service could be used by multiple consumers.

  1. Scale of Services;

Consumers have to pay according to the use of services. It is based upon time duration.

5.Collaboration;

People of different countries can do a project by Cloud Computing. If you save documents or any file, you can use Dropbox. Just like you share files and data like pictures and videos on Google Drive. It helps to recover data at any time and anywhere.

(C).Architecture Of Cloud Computing;

Cloud Computing has two parts, Front ends, and back end.

Front End;

It is basically a graphical user interface. It is used by the clients. It is an interface of a Web site that clients use to access data or any information.

Back End;

It is used by the service providers. It manages all the recourses that are required to provide a service. It includes a huge amount of data storage. So these are the following components of the back end,

  1. Application;

The application is what a user wants to access.

2.Service;

The cloud service providers provide various services.

  1. Runtime Cloud;

It is basically a run-time environment that works for virtual machines.

  1. Storage;

It is one of the most important modules that provide storage capacity to the users.

  1. Infrastructure;

It will include all of the users’ hardware and software components.

  1. Management;

It manages all of these components.

  1. Security;

It is also a component that secures the security of the back ends. Just like you trust Cloud Computing and its security. So that’s why you take services from that. Obviously, security is essential for data storage.

Conclusion;

All the application developers work on Google Hardware. Users can only access Cloud Computing on the internet. Most users use Cloud Computing for the purpose of file storage, file sharing, and the purpose data. It is exceptionally difficult to lose data.
